Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, the bot may process:

• Discord user ID, username, display name, server ID, and role information.
• ARK survivor name, EOS or platform identifier, tribe information, and server-related player statistics.
• Temporary verification codes and the status of an account link.
• Bot commands, configuration records, moderation actions, error logs, and timestamps needed to operate and protect the service.

2. How information is used

We use this information to verify and maintain account links, provide requested bot commands, display authorized player information, post server notices, enforce permissions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve service reliability.

3. Legal and safety purposes

Information may be reviewed when reasonably necessary to enforce community rules, investigate suspected cheating or misuse, protect users and services, comply with law, or respond to valid legal requests.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers that help operate the bot, database, game server, or hosting environment. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the rights and safety of Christian Crew, its members, or others.

5. Retention

Linked-account records are kept while needed to provide account linking, administration, security, and dispute resolution. Temporary verification codes may expire automatically. Logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operations and safety.

6. Unlinking and deletion requests

You may use the bot’s unlink command when available. To request access to or deletion of your stored linking data, contact a Christian Crew administrator through the Christian Crew Discord. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and limited records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect stored information. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their Discord and gaming accounts with strong authentication practices.

8. Children’s privacy

The bot is not intended for anyone below Discord’s minimum permitted age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use Discord. Contact an administrator if you believe such information has been provided.

9. Policy changes

We may update this policy when features or practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an updated policy is published.
